GameDay: Anaheim @ Edmonton

The Stakes: Stakes? Surely we jest. Not so. Sharp eyed John Kreiser of ducks.nhl.com points out our Ducks could finish with a .500 record by winning these two final games in Edmonton and Calgary. Considering they started the season 10-22-6 getting even would be a significant accomplishment.
There really is no downside though. Lose and we stay in the running for the No.1 pick in the Entry Draft.
Keys to the Game: Oilers have scored just four goals in their last four games, half of which came against our Ducks. Three goals might cinch it. Our Ducks big challenge is to (1) play hard & smart for 60 minutes, (2) stay out of the penalty box, (3) score 3 or more goals.

Since I feel confident about you losing the small wager we had, here is a link to Travis Roy that I hope you will enjoy as much as I did.

He is a great young man, hard to believe that it has been so long since his life was changed.
Keep up your good work as I appreciate the passion that your words show.

    • Wow, Travis’ story is such a compelling learning moment. If you want respect show the world that you respect yourself first.
It will be an honor to donate fifty bucks to TRF that is of course IF Homey fails to score five goals against Calgary on Saturday.

If you have not read the book about his life, it is a great read.
It took me quite some time to be able to read it due to how close he and his family are.
The entire family are great people and his foundation does wonderful things.
He has changed many lives due to how he has handled his adversity.
